Oh good grief! This is utterly senseless. But then, that's what bigotry is.

Personally, I prefer eating with a spoon with my food in a bowl. Whatever would the lunch monitor do to me? Sorry, I'm being overly sarcastic. Seriously, this is disturbing.

yeah, that's how we eat back in m'sia too - spoon and fork. in fact, i find that a lot of chinese restaurants back home are now providing plate, spoon and fork instead of the more traditional bowl and chopstick.

oh, we oso use our hands to eat!

it is sad that many westerners (i have come across a few here) fail to appreciate different cultures and judge people based on their own narrow-minded thinking.

but not all! thank God there are many who are willing to learn and appreciate cultures which are diferent from theirs.
